The Angel of Peace – a song inspired by the apparitions of the Archangel St. Michael, the Angel of Portugal at Fatima in 1916 to the three shepherd children Lúcia dos Santos and her cousins Francisco and Jacinta Marto. I am most deeply honoured to have been permitted to dedicate this song to H.R.H. Dom Duarte Pio de Bragança, Duke of Bragança, Head of the Portuguese Royal House. In 2011 at the launching of First Snow, the very first recordings of the three piano pieces, Prelude Op. 11, Dreaming & Rhapsody Op. 14 performed and recorded by three of my then piano students at the Kantonsschule Sursee.
